Following the interesting 3D printing workshop presented by Paul Guillaumot from Spare Parts 3D during our EASA P2P Spring convention, and your request to dig deeper into this topic via real cases perspective, we propose a practical workshop between EASA members to make additive manufacturing (AM) accessible and immediately real to EASA9 Community.
Paul will showcase the process to print some of the first EASA9 members' parts. This session will be also a good forum to help you better select your best parts for 3D Printing but also discuss the challenges you are facing with some more difficult candidates.
During the last convention, many of you mentioned - Fan, Fan covers, Terminal Boxes, Pumps, impeller/turbines - as good 3D Printing first candidates.
Before the workshop, SP3D will give you the opportunity to upload on its DigiPart platform 3D files some of your parts you consider for additive manufacturing and have them quoted and eventually printed (In Europe, Middle East, ...)
