New Officers Appointed at the EASA Europe, Asia & Africa Chapter Annual General Meeting 2026

During the Annual General Meeting held at the EASA Europe, Asia & Africa (EAA) Chapter Convention in Rome, the Chapter announced new appointments to its leadership team.

Neil Gallant (Neurotronic) has been appointed Vice President, following his service as Treasurer. Throughout his career, Neil has been devoted to rotating machinery, building a successful repair and maintenance operation serving a wide range of industries across the UK. His technical expertise and business leadership will continue to support the Chapter’s development.

Shaun Sutton (Central Group) has been appointed Treasurer. As Managing Director, he brings expertise in statutory compliance, governance, strategic direction, and leadership development. A Director and Past President of AEMT, he also contributes extensive industry and association experience to the role.

The Chapter also announced the appointment of two new Council Members: Chris Adams (Sulzer) and Sven Kühne (Partzsch). Their combined experience and perspectives will further support the Chapter’s mission.

Richard Emery (PPI Engineering), Christian Vogelsang (Vogelsang Elektromotoren), Thomas Schmagger (Birr Machines AG), Anar Orujov (Global Energy Solutions), Emmanuel Buyck (The Rotating Company), and Youness Ouazry (CBE), Tracy Queen (ICC International) and Wendel Huibers (Huibers) were re-reconfirmed.

The Chapter extended its sincere thanks to Gunnar Pille, who has stepped down, for his service as Vice President and congratulated all officers for their commitment to the Association and its members.
