EASA Karsten Moholt Exceptional Achievement Award 2026
Huseyn Aliyev from Glensol (Baku, Azerbaijan) has been selected as the 2026 recipient of the EASA Karsten Moholt Exceptional Achievement Award.
Each year, the EASA Europe, Asia & Africa Chapter highlights the talent and dedication of young professionals under 35 who are making a real difference in the electromechanical service industry.
After careful consideration of all nominations, the committee chose Huseyn Aliyev for his dedication to his company, customers, EASA, and motor industry standards, and for turning his expertise into practical resources that benefit others.
Among his contributions was the development of a submersible motors maintenance manual, an initiative that originated from his own ideas and added significant value to this area of the business. He also updated numerous documents and procedures and shared them with EASA and the relevant committees, supporting more standardised processes and improved operational efficiency.
Huseyn’s nomination was further supported by strong recommendations from EASA members, reflecting the impact of his work across the industry.
Although Huseyn could not attend the convention in Rome in person, he shared a video message with the EASA community during the award presentation.
The EASA Europe, Asia & Africa Chapter is proud to celebrate professionals like Huseyn, whose expertise and commitment continue to strengthen and advance our field.
