EASA Service & Solutions Centre CWIEME Berlin 2025

EASA Europe, Asia & Africa was proud to take part in CWIEME Berlin 2025, where we launched the Service & Solutions Centre, a new initiative between EASA and CWIEME, designed to connect service providers, OEMs, suppliers, and the wider electromechanical community.
Located in Hall 25 near the Power Hub, the Centre offered a dedicated space for meaningful conversations, shared learning, and building lasting relationships across the industry, offering EASA members greater visibility and an opportunity to engage with a global audience.
A highlight of the Centre was the EASA Talks, a fresh, informal format designed to explore key topics shaping the electromechanical industry. Each session began with a short 10-minute introduction by an expert, followed by an open discussion with attendees.
Frédéric Beghain opened the series with a focused discussion on energy savings around motor systems in operation. Tracy Queen explored the continuing relevance and market presence of DC motors. Jannes Plietker provided insight into new inverter operation standards, addressing responsibilities around IVIC selection. Joseph Di Crea shared a structured methodology for improving motor insulation testing and performance. Finally, Johan De Coster led a timely conversation on the growing challenge of labour shortages in the industry, exploring both risks and opportunities.
Together, these sessions created an open and engaging space to tackle real-world challenges and share technical expertise and connect with peers.

We were pleased to welcome many visitors to the Centre who took the time to learn more about EASA, and we are excited about the potential to grow and refine the format in the coming years. Sincere thanks go to all EASA members who supported the launch of the Service & Solutions Centre, to our expert speakers who shared their knowledge and to the CWIEME Berlin for their ongoing partnership and collaboration.
