Connecting with Our Global EASA Community in Orlando

The EASA 2026 Convention in Orlando provided an excellent opportunity for the EASA Europe, Asia & Africa Chapter to contribute to the global conversation on the future of our industry while strengthening relationships with members from around the world.

How will sustainability, electrification and digitalisation reshape our industry? What can we learn from the different approaches taken across Europe, Asia and North America? These were the questions at the heart of the EASA Europe, Asia & Africa Chapter’s presentation, “New Industrial Developments – International Insights,” delivered by Edwin den Breejen, Bjørn Eirik Mjåtveit and Frédéric Beghain.

The session explored the global megatrends transforming the electromechanical services industry and highlighted how regional differences in markets, regulations, workforce development and customer expectations create valuable opportunities to learn from one another. It also demonstrated the value of EASA’s international network in connecting professionals through technical expertise, peer-to-peer knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Beyond the conference programme, the convention was a valuable opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, meet new members and exchange ideas with the wider EASA community. These conversations remain one of the greatest strengths of EASA, fostering collaboration across borders and helping members share practical experiences and solutions to common industry challenges.

Continuing a long-standing Chapter tradition, we were delighted to host the annual Region 9 Welcome Drink, bringing together our members and friends ahead of the convention. It was a pleasure to reconnect with familiar faces, welcome first-time attendees, and enjoy an informal evening that celebrated the strong sense of community within our Chapter.

We would like to thank everyone who attended our presentation and joined us throughout the week in Orlando. We look forward to continuing these conversations at the EASA Europe, Asia & Africa Chapter Convention in Rome this October.
