Paris 2024 – EASA Motors Congress 2024 Highlights
The EASA Motors Congress 2024, held on 27-28 November at the prestigious EDF Lab Paris-Saclay, brought together 136 participants and industry leaders for a highly dynamic and impactful event. This 100% francophone congress not only showcased the latest innovations in the electric motor sector but also served as a unique platform for professionals to engage in discussions about the future of motor maintenance, repair, and testing.
The congress offered an opportunity for industry experts to explore new developments within a rapidly evolving sector, addressing challenges related to motor performance, energy efficiency, and the integration of digital tools. It facilitated strategic discussions and meaningful exchanges, enabling participants to gain a deeper understanding of the industry’s needs and how to overcome them. A key highlight was the chance to hear directly from end users about the practical challenges they face in motor maintenance. This valuable feedback enriched the conversations and provided a clearer picture of the industry’s priorities.
The program was filled with insightful sessions on crucial topics. Among the highlights were presentations on optimizing motors in low-carbon environments, predictive maintenance strategies, and the role of digital technologies in energy audits. These sessions sparked engaging discussions and offered practical takeaways for participants.
The event maintained a clear focus on the latest standards, innovations, and challenges related to the repair, testing, monitoring, and sustainability of rotating machines. In parallel, a lively professional exhibition featured a complementary ecosystem of suppliers, each presenting innovative solutions to address both current and future challenges facing the industry.
One of the standout aspects of the congress was its format, which was proposed by the members of our association. This initiative demonstrated the power of collaboration within EASA, where collective ideas come together to create meaningful, productive events that reflect the needs and aspirations of our members.
Post-event feedback was overwhelmingly positive. A remarkable 95% of participants confirmed they would attend the next congress, and the event received an impressive average satisfaction rating of 92%.
