Peer to Peer Conferences & Workshops between Industry Experts

Dear participants at EASA Event in Manchester on the 12-13 of March of 2020

Please may I ask you to read all the following important message:

Over the past few days many events have been cancelled in Europe and some of our members have already expressed their concern to travel in the coming days. For that reason, the Directors of EASA European & World Chapter have taken the difficult decision to cancel our EASA Event in Manchester on the 12th of March and to replace it by a webinar on Monday the 27th of April from 2pm to 6pm. In the coming days, we will communicate to you all details on this session. Our Council Meeting on the 13th of March of 2020 will go ahead as planned via Video Conferencing (Zoom). We will communicate this to you in the coming days along with all the necessary information of how you can attend the council meeting by internet (For council members & special guests only).

EASA has lots of experience in delivering webinars, more than 100 EASA training courses have already been delivered successfully in this format with participants from around the world who had the chance to ask their questions and generate interactive discussions with all participants. Many companies are now also using this kind of solution for their board meetings. So let us take benefits of this technology. Please find more details on how a webinar works below.

Best Regards, Frederic

How a webinar works:
Our webinar will be a live event in which the audio and video are streamed to your computer over the Internet.
We use Zoom for our webinars
Prior to the program, you will receive a zoom web link to join the meeting.

  • Internet connection
  • Computer with audio input (microphone) and audio output (speakers) appropriate for your size group and why not TV or projector/screen connected to your computer
  • The Zoom webinar service EASA uses will ask to install a small plugin. Your computer must be configured to allow this in order to have full functionality. Please check with your IT department or company's security policy prior to scheduling a private webinar.
